You guys loved the chocolate cheesecake I posted a while back — rich, fudgy, and shockingly good for what’s basically a healthy dessert. So I figured, let’s raise the bar. This is my fudgy Ferrero Rocher cheesecake, and yeah, it hits.
It’s packed with real ingredients that just happen to be nutrient-dense: cottage cheese and Greek yogurt for that creamy base, eggs for structure, cocoa powder for the chocolate fix, and nut butter plus hazelnuts to bring in that Ferrero energy. Sweetened naturally with maple syrup (or honey), this thing is way more wholesome than it looks — but you'd never know from the taste.
No crust, no fuss, just a ridiculously good dessert that’s secretly loaded with protein. Let’s get into it.
Fudgy and protein-packed Ferrero Rocher-inspired Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 eggs
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or your choice)
1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Pour into a parchment lined 6” round baking dish.
Bake at 325F for 45-50 minutes until the edges of the cake feel slightly firm and the centre is still soft. The cake will still seem quite liquid in the centre but that’s what we’re looking for.
Cool in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours. Overnight is best.
Enjoy...and let me know what you think!
